Terms of Service

By using abutic.com, creating an account, placing an order, or using the Abutic service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the service.

If you are using Abutic on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

Abutic (also referred to as Abutic Cards) is a software product and brand operated as a sole proprietorship owned by Andrew Ceja, based in Southern California. More about us: abutic.com/pages/about.html.

The website describes Abutic digital profiles, vCards, NFC cards, and related tools. It is for general information. You may browse pages, create an account, generate a vCard, and place an order where those features are offered.

You may not use the site to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it in a way that burdens the service, or misrepresent who you are when contacting us.

Content on the site may change. Features shown in mockups or product pages are illustrative of the product. Availability of any feature depends on your plan, inventory, and configuration.

You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep your password and account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe someone else has access.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your place of residence, and in any case at least 13 years old. The service is not directed at children under 13.

NFC cards and other physical products are made or fulfilled to order. You are responsible for the accuracy of names, URLs, shipping addresses, and other details you submit. Custom engraving and similar personalization may affect whether an item can be returned.

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, plan details, and renewal terms are shown in your dashboard or at checkout. You authorize Abutic (and our payment processor) to charge the payment method you provide for applicable fees.

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each term unless you cancel before renewal.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not usually refund the current term except as required by law or stated at checkout.
• Subscription fees are otherwise non-refundable except as required by law.

We may change prices or plans with notice. Continued use after a change takes effect means the new price applies to later terms.

You retain ownership of the profile information, images, and other content you upload. You grant Abutic a limited license to host, display, and deliver that content as needed to operate the service — including showing a public profile to people who open your link or tap your card.

You are responsible for the content you publish and for having the rights to use it. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing material. Information you put on a public profile is visible to anyone with the link.

You may not use abutic.com or the Abutic service to send spam, harass anyone, infringe others’ rights, or violate law. You may not attempt to probe, overload, hack, or disrupt the site or related systems, or to copy, scrape, or resell the service except as we expressly allow.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, and we may remove content that we reasonably believe breaks these rules.

The Abutic name, logo, site design, and software are owned by the operator described above or its licensors. You may not copy, sell, or reuse them except as needed to view the site or as we expressly allow in writing.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without permission. Your own profile content remains yours, as described above.

Abutic disclaims implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Product photos and mockups are illustrative. Phone NFC support, shipping times, and carrier delivery can vary.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abutic and Andrew Ceja are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of abutic.com or the Abutic service.

Our total liability for claims relating to the website or service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 if you have not paid us.

Some places do not allow certain limitations. If those rules apply to you, some of the limits above may not apply.

You may stop using Abutic and delete your account at any time through account settings, where that control is available, or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we reasonably believe continued use would harm the platform, other people, or our ability to operate the service. We may also discontinue a feature with notice where we can reasonably provide it.

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site or service after an update means the revised terms apply. Paid accounts may also be governed by additional terms shown at checkout or in your dashboard.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of California, unless otherwise agreed in writing or applicable law requires another process.
