Cookie Policy

Which cookies we use on abutic.com, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change your choices.

Last updated October 20, 2026

The basics

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, like whether you are signed in or which cookie choices you made.

Some of your choices are kept in your browser’s local storage instead, which works the same way for this policy. Those are listed below too.

  • Keep you signed in and keep your account secure.
  • Remember your choices, such as your cookie preferences.
  • Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
  • Measure our ads, only if you allow it.

Your profile settings and account preferences are saved in your Abutic account, not in cookies. Turning off optional cookies won’t change how your profile or account works.

Cookies we use

The site needs these to work, so they can’t be turned off in Cookie Settings.

These make the site easier to use. Turning them off won’t stop anything from working.

We count page and profile views on our own servers using your session. That doesn’t add another cookie, and those counts aren’t shared with ad platforms.

Your choices

  • Cookie banner: accept or open Settings the first time you visit.
  • Cookie Settings: change your choices at any time from the link in the footer of every page, or the button below.
  • Your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in from working.
